BackBeat Music app for iPhone and iPad

BackBeat is an application centered around discovering and listening to new music and Bands.

One essential aspect of this apps performance is the ability to sample the music (within the app) of an artist who will be performing in a given area. It also allows for the creation of custom playlists based on previously liked artists and tells users about upcoming concerts in their area.

Users can log in with their facebook account and search for events by location and genre. They can also search for similar local artists. Upon finding songs they like, they can preview and download them using the iTunes Search API.
